Vedic Astrology Foundation Correspondence Course - Created by Richard Fish
Jyotish, or the science of light, is the ancient astrology of Yoga. By understanding the cosmic prana the
stars distribute to us we can better learn how to navigate our lives. Jyotish astrology provides the map to
guide our reintegration back into our natural state of wholeness. This reawakens our self knowledge and
allows us to live spontaneously centered in spiritual consciousness.
We offer a comprehensive Foundation Course in Vedic Astrology. Every student works at their own pace,
with their own birth-chart and has access to a personal tutor. The length of each module varies between
6 and 18 pages, followed by exercises designed to increase both your understanding of the information
covered by the module and of your own birth chart. Your tutor is always available and ready to help you
at every stage of the course.

4. Planets and Signs
5. The Houses
6. Planetary Aspects
7. Role of the Ascendants. Using the Lunar Ascendant
8. Yogas
9. Harmonic Charts
10. Predictive Astrology - the Vimshotari Dasha System
11. Predictive Astrology - Transits
12. Jyotish and Ayurveda
13. Practical Chart Work
14. Remedial Measures
Aims and Goals
1. To lift and expand Vedic Astrology beyond the confines of Indian culture and tradition in order to
present it in a manner that makes it more relevant to our present western culture, while fully
acknowledging and deeply respecting its Vedic/Indian origins and the ancient texts upon which it is based.
2. To present Vedic Astrology in a clear and understandable manner, and to demonstrate its many
applications.
3. To encourage the study and practice of astrology towards fulfilling its true role: that of relieving
suffering and of guiding us towards the fulfilment of our spiritual destiny.
Each module is mailed individually, once the previous module work is reviewed. At course completion a
certificate will mailed to the student.
Fee: $165.00 (Mailing of modules is included in the cost.)
Students may email important questions throughout the duration of study.
