Richard Fish studied under various vedic teachers and
astrologers and in 1977 was awarded the degree and title
of Jyotishnatak by Visvanartha Deva Sarma, founder of
the Viswa Jyotirvid Samgha. He has taught and practised
both Western and Vedic systems of astrology, as well as
Hastha-vidya (astro-palmistry) and Prashna (Horary
astrology). In 2001 he founded the Centre for Vedic
Astrology Studies which runs various Correspondence
Courses in Vedic astrology. As a Kriya -Yoga Minister in
Paramahansa Yogananda’s lineage he also teaches
meditation, considering the practice of yoga to be the true
‘inner astrology’.
